Chapter Six and Chapter Seven have now been uploaded on the site, thus completing the life and times of Charles George Gisby, the Patriarch.

Coming next is the story of his first son, George Stephen Gisby, who was born in Margate in 1892.  If any descendants or relatives of George happen to read this post and would like to contribute to his story, we'd be delighted to hear from you!

Phil and Brendan Gisby are cousins who met on Facebook.  They share the same great-grandfather, Charles George Gisby, who was born in Margate in 1859.  They're writing a book about old Charlie and his five sons, with Phil supplying the research and Brendan the words.  They've set up this website as a way to share their progress and receive feedback on it.

Click on the Foreword tab at the top of the page to find out how the project began.  Then use the other tabs to dip into the Gisby saga so far.

If you're related to old Charlie, no matter how remotely, and you would like to contribute to the project, feel free to add your comments to the Cousins' Blog posts on this page.  Phil and Brendan would be delighted to hear from you!
