The Five Sons of Charlie Gisby, the book of The Gisby Saga, is now available from Amazon in both paperback and Kindle.  The price in each case is the lowest which Amazon would allow us to set.  Here are the links:

Amazon.com (Paperback)

Amazon.com (Kindle)

Amazon.co.uk (Kindle)

If you do purchase and read the book, we'd be delighted if you could also post a review of it on Amazon.

Does anyone know whether Joseph P Gisby/Joseph P Togel - son of Gisby who died in the 1949 plane crash) is still alive?

Phil and Brendan Gisby are cousins who met on Facebook.  They share the same great-grandfather, Charles George Gisby, who was born in Margate in 1859.  They're writing a book about old Charlie and his five sons, with Phil supplying the research and Brendan the words.  They've set up this website as a way to share their progress and receive feedback on it.

Click on the Foreword tab at the top of the page to find out how the project began.  Then use the other tabs to dip into the Gisby saga so far.

If you're related to old Charlie, no matter how remotely, and you would like to contribute to the project, feel free to add your comments to the Cousins' Blog posts on this page.  Phil and Brendan would be delighted to hear from you!
